Live Review: WATCH: Hunting Grounds 'Flaws'

Do we have some young talent in this country or what? No, I’m not reading Rob Mills’ autocue. I am in fact referring to the gold-mine of music that is Triple J Unearthed.

This vast reserve has proven time and time again to be a veritable melting pot of hitherto undiscovered musical talent, with HUNTING GROUNDS but one example plucked from a seemingly bottomless pit of up and comers. If you haven’t already, be sure to get on and have a listen. Shit is blowin’ up, yo!

But I digress. Triple J Unearthed High winners HUNTING GROUNDS have created quite a buzz about the PURPLE SNEAKERS offices, due to the release of a video for their new single ‘Flaws’. The opening seems a bit like an un-skip-able ad that precedes a YouTube video, but in that same vein, get past it and you’re into the good stuff. It actually bears an eerie similarity to the original ‘Apple Macintosh 1984’ ad. Compare them yourself.
