The XX Announce Australian Tour
With two times the goodness of a second album announcement and an Australian tour, The xx have made many an indie fan wet themselves.
Why be burdened with bad news when you can be overjoyed with a double dose of fantastic and exhilarating news? Not only have details of THE XX’s second studio album Coexist been announced, but a small number of intimate Australian shows have also been announced for this upcoming July.
London artists The xx have been classified under a million different genres under the sun, as they incorporate elements of many different sounds through their shared love for 80’s emotive rock, and quite distinctively, a radical glimmer of American R&B. Call it what you want, there are strokes of musical genius weaved throughout each track, whether through the hushed melodies, subtle tones, or a constant continuity of grace.
Coexist is due to hit Australian shores on the 7th of September, 2012, and is definitely something to look forward to. Playing at The Forum in Melbourne on the 18th of July, and The Metro in Sydney on the 20th of July, the trio will be, the tickets will only available via a ballot.

The ballots for both shows will open at 10.00am on Monday the 4th of June and close on Tuesday the 5th of June at 11.59pm. Winners will be announced at 9.00am on Wednesday the 6th of June.
Proving to be a vivacious group, The xx have played sold out shows all over Europe, the UK and the US. Get ‘em while you can, it will be a show to remember.
