FEATURE ARTIST: Hound

Modern folk music doesn't always have the best reputation but HOUND, a 6 piece from Melbourne's southeast suburbs, are the kind of band who can completely change that.

Their music is melodic and dreamy, the vocals and instrumentals perfectly timed and in sync. While some bands play so riotously that you can't help but cover your ears, HOUND are the aural equivalent of a Panadol, a soothing balm for sore ears with not a single off key note to their name.

Best of all, they're offering the track 'Colton-Harris Moore' from their self-titled EP as a free download on their Bandcamp. Cash-strapped music lovers, rejoice! You'll definitely want to make sure you get this because it's the kind of material that, once heard, you're likely to find yourself humming to even days after. HOUND also put on a fantastic live show and are getting noticed by a lot of important names, so we're pretty sure they're going to make it big.
