Mudhoney Announce Splendour Sideshow

Guys, let’s just face it: I’m not going to stop talking about Splendour in the Grass 2012 until Splendour 2013. I don’t have a problem with that, and you shouldn’t either, because despite all the naysayers, you and I both know that this year’s line-up is three different kinds of awesome with a cherry on top. There’s something for everyone, including the landmark Seattle band MUDHONEY, who toured alongside Sonic Youth in the late Eighties, and Pearl Jam on their 20^th anniversary tour.

If you’re from  Melbourne (or willing to travel - which, y’know, if you were going to travel across the country for a band, an iconic one like MUDHONEY would defs be the go) and didn’t score tickets to Splendour, you’re in luck: MUDHONEY have announced a single Splendour sideshow, at the iconic Corner Hotel.

Limited pre-sale tickets were available for Handsome mailing list subscribers but the floodgates are open now on the Handsome Tours website and from the Corner Hotel. Better be quick though, because their last show at the Corner sold out in less than two weeks.

You can psych yourself up with the video below: It’s the video to their track ‘Touch Me, I’m Sick’, which is arguably one of their best and most well-loved (except, not arguably, because no one’s really arguing – it’s definitely one of their best).
