Live Review: MIXTAPE: Randall Stagg 'Winter is Here'

Biased? Who said biased? It’s not my fault PURPLE SNEAKERS DJs are wonderfully fantastic. But seriously, they are, and making up one half of this power duo is the talented RANDALL STAGG. His latest mixtape titled ‘Winter Is Here’ has just been posted on SoundCloud, and what a fitting title indeed.

Alas, dreams of beaches and cocktails aside, get your little mittens on this one. The mix features some absolute stunners, such as tracks by FLUME, GRIMES and PANTHA DU PRINCE, what more could you possibly ask for?

The mix tape is really chill and easy to listen to; perfect to calm those violent thoughts about fellow commuters on the 8am city-bound train of a Monday morning. A really smooth and well thought out mix -- props to our man!

Mr STAGG and his other half PhDJ combine like superheros to form PURPLE SNEAKERS DJs, who have recently returned from an absolute killer performance in Bendigo for the Victorian leg of the Groovin’ The Moo festival. The crowd response was crazy wild, and yes, we gots the footage to prove it.
