You may find yourself asking after 2 months of solid discos at our new home, why we would choose to throw in such a big party now? CANT SAY

You may find yourself asking after 2 months of solid discos at our new home, why we would choose to throw in such a big fucking party? The answer: because we can.

Forming in early 2010, Gold Coast surf rats Jordan Malane and Alex Wall started BLEEDING KNEES CLUB in their parents’ garage for ‘something to do’. Practising on cheap guitars and a karaoke machine microphone, they cut their teeth playing catchy, chaotic garage punk at house parties around town.

Figuring it was going nowhere, American-born Alex headed overseas to New York just as the buzz around the band ignited online. By the time he got home, Bleeding Knees Club were all over the radio. Things have been a bit of a blur since then, with the band scoring record deals here and overseas, playing shows in Oz, the UK, and the US, as well as picking up props from NME and the BBC for last year’s Virginity EP.

Produced by Dev Hynes (Lightspeed Champion), their debut album Nothing To Do doesn’t mess with the formula, delivering bratty two-minute blasts about bad boys and teenage girls. With their shows already infamous for crowd chaos and stage invasions, check them out live and get amongst it.

The I OH YOU DJs are the creative brains behind Melbourne-based record label I OH YOU. The label was started a few years back when they received a final notice gas bill in the mail. Fresh out of ideas and with fuck all luck, the decided to throw a house party. The money gathered at that house party went to paying the bill and in the process was the building blocks of the record label we've all come to know and love. Here's how they describe themselves: "We're a few horny kids who live in a share house which is located somewhere in the inner city suburbs of Melbourne. We throw sweet parties, release even sweeter records and do the sweetest creative stuff. We just started doing this to pay our bills and impress girls. So far we've paid all our bills and impressed no girls."

With supports from INDIAN SUMMER DJS and the CANT SAY Army, it's all the right ingredients that you definitely don't want to miss out on. Be there or be square.
