Purple Sneakers: You guys have been making quite a name for yourselves as globetrotters throughout 2011, what has been you’re favourite destination so far and why?

B: Japan is always the best, we love that country, what we know from their culture, their hospitality etc... We are always having a great time there.

PS: How would you describe your sound? Would you say it’s in line with what a lot of other French producers are doing at the moment?

B: High energy boom boom dance music for the party...

We are kinda all using analogue sounds mixed with samples and we use the same production techniquess as Distortion and Sidechain so in the end, we are all doing similar stuff.

PS: This upcoming trip to Australia will be your second visit to the country, what can audiences expect from your shows this time around?

B: Well that depends on the party- we can play anything from cool tech house to noisy dubstep so it depends on what the crowd wants. Our goal is to make people have fun.

PS: Your latest single "Slow Down" is out now with remixes from Yelle DJs, Adrian Lux, The Japanese Popstars and DWNTWN. Do you have a cheeky favourite?

B: We love them all; the Yelle DJs one for the beginning of the party, The Japanese Popstars remix for the middle of the night, we usually play the Adrian Lux more in the end of the night and finally the DWNTWN remix for the ipod. So there is basically one version for every moment of the night and day.

PS: You recently did 2 shows at SXSW this year, how did they go? Did you catch any other acts while you were in Austin? Who was your #1 pick?

B: It was cool, we played a Kitsune party at a beautiful venue on a balcony and at another one we played before Sofi so we had to push the play button on her instrumental CD, the first track was an unreleased Skrillex track, that was cool. We didn't catch many acts there since it's not easy to go into every party you want when you are not 21- even with the artist pass. So the best act we had the chance to enjoy was a Housemeister motherfucking dj set.

PS: You’ve had some huge festival appearances recently including Paris’ Inox Park and Switzerland’s Paléo Festival – have these been your first experiences playing to such large crowds?

B: It was kinda the first, yes. We had another great big crowd experience, it was at a festival called le cabaret vert, the sound was so good !

PS: You recently put together an exclusive mix for Triple J which featured everything from your own slamming up-tempo productions to Diplo’s new moombah-bounce jam ’Express Yourself’. Are your live shows usually this eclectic or do you typically stick to your own sound?

B: We don't really know what our own sound is but we love a lot of music, so yes our sets can be eclectic!
