WIN: Double Pass to The Herd - Manning Bar, Sydney

Sydney's THE HERD are something like legends in Australian hip-hop, with regular airplay on Triple J, ARIA nominations, and an Australian Independent Music award to boot.

Forming in 2001, The Herd are a hip-hop collective who aim to change society's way of thinking. Their song '77%', is the best example of this, with its constant airplay causing complaints, sparking debate, and, ultimately, spreading awareness of the Tampa issue. Their political passion doesn't come at a cost to their music, though, with tongue-twisting lyrics and great beats a staple of every song.

With all this, it can be hard to believe that The Herd do know how to kick back and have some fun as well. In anticipation of an upcoming tour with Sydney hip-hop trio Thundamentals, the two have teamed up to bring you a totally ridiculous soap opera which is, at the same time, completely Australian.
