WATCH: The Shoes 'Time To Dance' feat. Jake Gyllenhaal

JAKE GYLLENHAAL plays a hipster-slaying serial killer in one of the most unassumingly cinematic, original and engaging film clips we've seen.

The Daniel Wolfe directed video is for French band THE SHOES single 'Time To Dance' and sees the Hollywood star moving through a range of different parties and scenarios brutally slaughtering anyone who he sees dancing. When his character isn't out killing he's working out at the gym, brooding naked in the steam room, getting a shave at the barbers or eating at his favourite restaurant.

The track seems like an 8 and a half minute epic at first, way too long and complicated to have any kind of major appeal. After a couple of spins however 'Time To Dance's' many hooks all sink their teeth into you at the same time and have you totally unable to stop listening.

The Shoes' EP for 'Time To Dance' is out now via iTUNES and features remixes from SebastiAn, Dddxie, Esser and Rocky Piano.
