The All New RDIO Streaming Service

As mentioned yesterday; Purple Sneakers has teamed up with RDIO as an 'Influencer' on the music site, creating weekly playlists and collaborating with others. We are happy to announce they have just made their product even more accessible, updating the sites interface to a slick iTunes style player.

Check up on what everyone is listening to and add new tunes and albums to your collection as you go.

This new layout seems to be channeling a half media player and half Facebook/Google+ view although seemingly without the option of being able to chat with online friends. RDIO has become faster and much easier to navigate - who knows, you might even find a cutie on there who likes your favourite band as much as you do...

These changes were unveiled at an invite-only presentation held at the #FEED house from SXSW 2012. Powered by Twitter in the Austin Museum of Art, RDIO showcased the new Web and desktop apps and also announced that more than 15 million songs are now available in its global catalogue, marking another major milestone. The party streamed live over the net and included performances from synth-wave heroes Com Truise and Teengirl Fantasy - watch the whole thing HERE via livestream.
