Japanese all-female garage rock trio the 5.6.7.8's will be playing headlining shows in Sydney, Melbourne, and Hobart.
When Japan's The 5.6.7.8's stop playing, you know shit's going down. Featured playing their cover of 'Woo hoo' in Quentin Tarentino's Kill Bill Vol.1, The 5.6.7.8's are an all-female garage trio whose popularity has since exploded, sharing stages with the likes of The White Stripes at Reading Festival, and being invited to Nashville to record two singles with Jack White for his label, Third Man Records.
Since 1986, The 5.6.7.8's have been playing their no-fuss, gutsy brand of garage rock. With overdriven guitars, wild vocals, and frenzied drumlines, The 5.6.7.8's embody the entire spirit of rock, and will be sure to make you dance. Or don a yellow jumpsuit, fend off six hundred Japanese gangsters brandishing samurai swords and chains, fight an insane high school girl, and cut off the top of Lucy Liu's head. Whatever, no biggie.
