Live Review: LISTEN: Matt Corby 'Brother' (Guerre Remix)

Sydney electronic outfit GUERRE has remixed MATT CORBY'S 'Brother', the track that everyone is talking about.  A tough task due to its popularity, and while it is a significant departure from the original, the remix skilfully recreates the intimacy and delicacy of Corby's live shows. 

Guerre has taken away the many build-ups and releases in the original and replaced them with more subtle climaxes. As to be expected from Guerre, the result is brooding and suspenseful.
