There's a party in our pants, would you like to come? Hehehehehe, no puns intended...

With a carton of soda pop in the boot of their hot rod and a suitcase full of good times strapped to the roof racks, Sydney four-piece THE BETTY AIRS are busting out for a crime spree across Australia’s eastern and southern seaboards.

Along the way they’ll be dropping the sweet and surfy vibes of their new single ‘Juvenile’ and whipping crowds into frenzies with their shin-kicking, knee-slapping live show.

Juvenile’ is already kicking up dust in the schoolyard, earning plaudits in the blogosphere and getting spins on national and community radio across the nation. On top of that, the track has been earmarked to help triple j launch their brand new Unearthed Digital radio station.

The ‘Juvenile’ Tour will take THE BETTY AIRS from sunny Brisbane, through the creepy streets of Adelaide, in and around their hometown of Sydney, before wrapping things up in Melbourne.

But this ain’t no solo mission. THE BETTY AIRS are teaming up with some of the most wanted and infamous names in Australian indie rock as they tear shreds through the country.

They've played with the likes of British India, Wolf & Cub, Dune Rats and Velociraptor. That’s a whole lot of trouble to be made! Catch them if you can!

The past three months have been quite the whirlwind for Sydney band, THE RUBENS.

This four-piece, made up of three brothers and a childhood friend hail from the small town of Menangle, NSW about an hour south of Sydney and since their inception in February, they have been on a sure but steady rise to success.

Off the back of 3 bedroom demos, recorded in Sam’s, the oldest brother and frontman, bedroom the band has been warming hearts across the country with their single “Lay It Down” which is a lazy blues tune doused in soul. Sam’s crooning voice coupled with Zaac’s guitar work, Elliot‘s warm organ tones and Scott’s lazy, hip-hop influenced drumming make a combination that uniquely reflects their influences of years gone by.

After being picked out for Triple J Unearthed High Rotation the band quickly saw a gain in popularity with spot plays on Triple J receiving rave reviews locally and abroad, where the single was picked up by Laura Laverne and played on BBC6 breakfast program.

This eventually lead to the small town boys receiving rotation on 3RRR, FBi and Triple J as well as scoring a spot on Homebake - The Classic Edition, thanks to Triple J Unearthed.

News travelled fast and caught the attention of US producer DAVID KAHNE (The Strokes, Paul McCartney, Regina Spektor) and the remainder of 2011 will see THE RUBENS finish up in Australia with a series of shows in Sydney and Melbourne then the boys will ship off to NEW YORK to record their Debut album.

Any idea how you got home last night?
