The Drums and Cults co-headline their Australian tour for Laneway Festival
Come February just about every venue is going to filled to the brim with international bands and their festival sideshows which means it's time to get super organised. Despite how well prepared you are with you're wall calendar, there are always going to be nights when shows clash and you can't see it all which is why we get a little bit excited when we see a co-headline tour.
Brooklyn boys, The Drums return to the country with a new album Portamento (stream HERE) and a slight line up change. Their style of simple and honest lyrics combined with driving melodies and lead singer Jonathan Pierce's Peter Garett-esque frenzied dancing makes them a must see this summer.
Joining them are the mysterious duo Cults. Surfacing a year ago with 'Go Outside' they refused to take interviews or be seen. only existing as a soundcloud page. They eventually emerged with a debut album and lives performances that not only silenced the doubters, but wowed them.
UPDATE: Brisbane party pair Dune Rats have just been announced to support this already awesome line up!
