Live Review: LISTEN: Wavves '100%' (Sonic Youth Cover)

WAVVES have a new EP coming out very very soon, and they've been dropping tracks off it like nobody knows! First there was homage to Dave Grohl, and then the collaboration with Best Coast. Now they've covered Sonic Youth's track '100%' and shared it with their devoted fans.

The track takes on Wavves' trademarked unfinished sound, with a whole lot of pedal work and punchy guitar riffs. Far from their description of being a "quick acoustic cover" it proves to be exceptionally put together, and we can see it rising up our list of favourites.
