WIN: Unknown Mortal Orchestra Self Titled Album

This week we're super stoked to be giving away a copy of Unknown Mortal Orchestra's debut self-titled album. Huge thanks to our buds at Spunk!

These talented guys came onto the scene late 2010, and they've been on the tips of everyone's tongues ever since. Their debut album, which came out on June 21st opens with the track that got everyone hooked, Ffunny Ffriends. And no, that was not a misspelling. This track went viral when the band posted it to their Bandcamp, and its no wonder why. The drums and bass sound almost hip-hop like, while the vocals and guitars are expertly interweaved into a perfect mix of psych-rock and indie-rock. The 60's influence is heard heavily throughout, but it's not till the latter half of the album that you can really hear the groove featured lo-fi.

We could just listen to it for days. And we have.
