Live Review: STREAM: M83 feat. Zola Jesus 'Intro'

M83 have dropped the opening track from their upcoming album 'Hurry Up, We're Dreaming' and we must say, if it's anything to judge by - the album will be phenomenal. One Mr Anthony Gonzalez has been a mover and a shaker in the shoegazey/dreamy/pop sound with extensive use of reverb effects and soft vocals over heavy instrumentation.

Aptly titled, the track 'Intro' is a slow builder; with pulsating electronic bells, pounding drums and dazzling synths, then the booming vocals from guest vocalist Zola Jesus kick in about half way through. The track is intense and beautiful and is a good sign of what else is to come.
