Live Review: STREAM: Dune Rats 'Pogo'

26 August 2011 | 11:26 am | Staff Writer

Dune Rats hail from our Sunshine State, and they are not just another surf-indie-garage band. They've just dropped a new single 'Pogo'.

Hailing from our Sunshine State, this Brisbane duo is not just another surf-indie-garage band. Dune Rats is made up of Danny Beus (of Villians of Wilhelm fame) and BC Michaels (from The Cairos and Comic Sans). In just a short year, they've made a name for themselves with their ultra party attitudes and corresponding tunes. Not to mention their super talented friends: they have a revolving bassist in the forms of Sean (Last Dinosaurs), Tim (John Steel Singers) or Declan (British India).

They're currently prepping for their upcoming tour, but until then, they've released a new single to really get your blood pumping. Pogo is a perfect party tune, and gives you just under 3 minutes of feeling like you're lying on a sun drenched beach.
