Yung Gravy And BBNO$ Announce Debut Baby Gravy Australian Tour

Popular genre chameleons Yung Gravy and bbno$ have joined forces to bring their collaborative project, Baby Gravy, to Australia and New Zealand for the first time.

The tour announcement comes in the wake of Splendour In The Grass's cancellation. The pair were due to perform at the festival, so why should fans miss out on the Baby Gravy tour?

Yung Gravy and bbno$ will begin the tour in New Zealand, kicking off the celebrations at Auckland’s Powerstation (Monday, 15 July) before coming to Australia. The Australian dates start at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall (Wednesday, 17 July), before heading to Melbourne’s Festival Hall (Saturday, 20 July), Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion (Sunday, 21 July), and wraps up at Perth’s Centenary Warehouse on Tuesday, 23 July.

The general ticket on-sale opens at noon local time on Monday, 15 April, but before that, Live Nation members can access pre-sale tickets from noon local time this Friday, 12 April. You can find more ticketing information via the Live Nation website.

The tour arrives in support of the duo’s third album, Baby Gravy 3, which features the singles Goodness Gracious and You Need Jesus.

"I think this one is just the GOAT," Gravy said about the latest project in an interview with Purple Sneakers’ Cyclone Wehner. "It's the most fire of all of our shit."

The duo may have fulfilled a mixtape trilogy, but they revealed they're open to more volumes. "I don't see why not," bbno$ said. "I'm not gonna stop making music. There might be a point where I'm gonna be bored of just making music – because after my two next projects, I'll hit ten projects. So I don't know if it's doing me a favour by making that much music, but I don't see why not. It's just fun."

"Yeah, I think I'll eventually stop making music," Gravy responded. "But I don't see that happening for a while.” He also left us with a teaser, hinting that Baby Gravy will cut "at least another two… if not more."
