After months of speculation, The Kid LAROI has confirmed that he and Tate McRae are indeed in a relationship.

The Stay hitmaker made mention of the relationship on Sunday (14 April) at 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland, as McRae watched on from the side of the stage.

At one point during the show, the singer and rapper told his audience, “I need everybody in here to sing this as loud as they can because my girlfriend’s here tonight, and I don’t want to look lame.”

Fan cameras then panned to a grinning McRae on the sidelines. The Kid LAROI added, “If you guys don’t sing this really loud… It’s going to embarrass me.”

Earlier this year, the Aussie sensation and Canadian star were spotted holding hands after leaving a Super Bowl party.

Images of the pair were snapped as they left Michael Rubin's Fanatics Super Bowl Party, which was held at the Marquee Dayclub at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas on 10 February. Tightly holding hands, McRae donned baggy jeans while The Kid LAROI wore cargo shorts, the pair looking comfy in sportswear.

Since rumours of their relationship emerged back in February, The Kid LAROI has consistently commented on McRae’s Instagram posts, drawing thousands of likes with his supportive and admiring comments.

In December, McRae dropped her new album Think Later after announcing a 2024 Australian tour, following on from her 2022 appearance at Spin Off festival and a run of headline dates.

Meanwhile, The Kid LAROI will tour Australia this October after postponing his tour that was supposed to take place back in February, citing “impossible” logistical situations.

The tour arrives in support of the release of his debut album, THE FIRST TIME. In a glowing review for The Music, Claire Dunton wrote that LAROI “feels and sounds like a real, honest talent that you can’t help but back as an Australian” and “has perfectly executed the ever-popular ‘90s aesthetic”.
