"The one thing I want to make clear is that when Bam's with us we make art, music, and memories. We don't do drugs or alcohol and always try to create a sober environment for Bam."

In a collab we did not see coming, Aussie rapper Cult Shotta and Tanboymiguel are set to drop a track with none other than former Jackass star Bam Margera.

The rumour mill went into overdrive this week after a slew of videos emerged on TikTok showing Bam, Cult Shotta, lil golo and Tanboymiguel hanging out while Bam vibed to a track that seemingly took shots at Bam's frenemy and fellow Jackass star, Johnny Knoxville.

After days of social media speculation, it's now been confirmed by Cult Shotta and Tanboymiguel's manager that Margera has joined the pair for a feature in a track titled I Feel Like Bam.

“We are releasing a track with him soon. I Feel Like Bam @CultShotta x @Tanboymiguel Ft Bam Margera and produced by sincewhen and Zabba," the rappers' manager, Charizard, said via Instagram to Purple Sneakers on Wednesday (July 5).

He added that the track is set to drop "within the next two weeks."

"We're pretty much just finalising a few small things. It's going to be an actual proper feature and not just him talking shit unlike all the comments, Reddit threads and articles are stipulating," he explained.

Asked about how the wild collab came about, Charizard added, "Essentially, [producer] sincewhen used to produce for Lil Peep and he's a close friend of Bam - he always tries to keep him out of trouble."

"Anyway, he saw me and the boys and reached out to come through to the studio and Bam was there, and when he heard Shotta, he was like 'I need to hop on'".

It's no secret that the headlines surrounding the Viva La Bam star of late have been deeply concerning, including news that he was held on a 5150 psychiatric hold in June after "allegedly threatening to smoke crack until he died if he wasn't able to see his son" (as per TMZ).

Previous to this, a warrant was issued for his arrest following an altercation with his family back in April, during which he allegedly assaulted his brother, Jesse Margera, before fleeing into the woods.

More recently, Margera again prematurely left a San Diego detox centre, leaving friends, family and Lamar Odom understandably concerned about his sobriety.

Despite this, Shotta had only positive things to say about his experience in getting to know Bamr, telling us, "He's super nice, he's a real one bro, he showed us mad love"

As whispers grew that the rap duo were set to join forces with Bam, they were soon bombarded with a slew of critical (and some straight-up hateful) comments on social media sites, particularly in Reddit's /r/LetsTalkBam subreddit, where many accused the musos of "enabling" the star, who has dealt with alcohol and substance abuse issues in the public eye over the years.

"All the crazy ass conspiracy features they are pissing out are delusional," Charizard said of the criticism directed towards them amid news of the track.

"If there's one thing I want clear it's that when Bam's with us we make art, music and memories. We don't do drugs or alcohol and always try to create a sober environment for Bam."

"He is very passionate about this record and excited to release it. All this fuss is from speculation and not facts. All the media about us and Bam is saying 'they're enabling him to make bad decisions' but have yet to highlight or showcase any of these 'bad decisions'."

"People want to keep him boxed into the popular narrative and get excited to see bad news about Bam," he added.

Speaking on behalf of Cult Shotta, Charizard said that the Western Sydney rapper is "excited about it and extremely happy to work with and become friends with some that he's looked up to and drawn hella inspiration from."

"He's sad and thinks it's lame and tragic how people don't want to give the song a chance let alone him He's also sad about how all these Americans are treating him - this is all their first time in America and they've only been here for a month."

"However, he's excited and thinks this is the best project yet, he said he's not going to let anything get to him or let these people make up narratives about him.

"Once the project comes out, no one is going to be able to say shit."

Stay tuned...
