Spanish DJ Dosem is heading to Australia this June, headlining Lucky PresentsSynergy Rave at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory.

Dosem, from the London-based independent record label Anjunadeep, will return for the event that takes place from 11:45 pm on Saturday, 1 June, until 4:45 am.

He’ll be joined by local artists chosen closer to the show, with Lucky Presents reminding punters that last year’s show at Cult sold out, and this year, they expect nothing less at the new location of Oxford Art Factory. You can find tickets via Eventbrite but be warned that they’re already selling fast.

The show has extra anticipation around it, as it’s an exclusive Dosem show that promises to showcase his “desire and passion to explore the deeper shades of house and techno”.

Dosem is one of the most influential Spanish artists in the house and techno scene. Since honing his craft in 2008, the artist has released music on the imprints of Christian Smith’s Tronic, Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat, Slam’s Soma Records and John Digweed’s Bedrock, per a press release.

In 2020, Dosem released his fourth album, Dream Decoder, and has since dropped remixes with Marsh and Hammer, released the EPs Time After Time and Digital Futures, and shared his 2023 mix of Beach Kisses. Those releases have accompanied an already expansive discography of albums, EPs and numerous singles.

Earlier this month, Dosem dropped a collaboration with “Japanese master” Ken Ishii called Neonride.

Dosem said about the project on Instagram, “The project’s idea came to fruition between my city, Girona, and Tokyo, which holds a special place in my heart since Japanese manga and anime culture had a great impact on my youth, particularly movies like Akira and Ghost In The Shell.

His friend U:ICHI offered up a remix, calling the fellow producer “one of the most talented Japanese artists I know, a great producer, and the first promoter who brought me on tour in Japan under his brand Weaves Japan.”

Dosem continued, “I can’t think of a better tandem to kick off a new era at [his record label] Houstrike than with this collaboration and refreshed visual layout for our covers and merchandise.”
