For the second year in a row, Spotify will be bringing back their live playlist event, Front Left Live. This year's live event will be taking place at Forum Melbourne on Wednesday, October 9.
The live show format is based on the actual Spotify playlist Front Left, so the showcase is set to feature a bunch of acts that Aussie Spotify listeners are in tune with.
They're bringing over some of the best, genre-defying acts on the planet, including Swedish pop icon Tove Lo, who will be performing exclusively at this event, breakout Aussie act Tones And I, Norwegian musician girl in red, New Zealand larrikin BENEE and the alluring Adelaidean duo, Electric Fields.
They've also announced that for this second Front Left Live event, they'll be bringing over a special international guest to be announced.

Head of Music Culture and Editorial at Spotify Australia & NZ, Alicia Sbrugnera, says “we were thrilled with the response to Front Left Live last year. The goal was to build a stronger Spotify playlist brand, then take it to the stage through a live event; our first major live public event in this region and the first time bringing a playlist brand to life. In doing so we were able to increase the listenership of the Front Left playlist and help over 500,000 fans discover more of the best and most diverse new music than ever before.”
Last year's Front Left Live took place in Sydney, with performances from Baker Boy, Cosmo's Midnight, King Princess and a collaborative set from CXLOE and Kota Banks.
