PREMIERE: Clueless’ ‘Lost My Soul’ is the euphoric house banger we needed today

Tori Roe AKA CLUELESS has been a regular on the DJ circuit around the country for a few years now. She’s been slaying it as a house DJ, spreading nothing but infectious grooves to dancefloors at some of the biggest clubs around the country, including spots where she’s held residencies including Ministry Of SoundChinese LaundryCircusThe World Bar and more.

This force to be reckoned with has slowly been dipping her toes into the world of production too, with her hard-hitting, tech-house slapper of a debut, ‘Hold On’ which came to us last year. Since then, she’s been honing her craft and buckling down to release a bunch of new tunes, the first of which is coming to us officially tomorrow, but we’ve got the first taste of it right now here at Purple Sneakers.

Her second track is called ‘Lost My Soul’, and it’s set to be released via Be Rich Records. It’s the perfect middle ground between thumping UK house and toe-tapping tech house. The track eventuates into a blissful release of euphoric house that will definitely be seeing its place on dancefloors across town very shortly.

The track came together during a session with a close friend. She said:
“I wrote and produced it myself with a friend helping me do the mix down (my level of production skills don’t reach that far yet haha!) I couldn’t figure out what the lyric said but I loved it. I decided the last phrase kind of sounded like “I’m losing my feeling, think I’ve lost my soul”… so I went with that.”

Catch Clueless on tour as she takes her new track around the country this July/August.

About:

No idea where she’ll be in 10 years, but as long as she has a good record and a glass of white wine, she’ll be sweet.
