The Goods collaborate with Touch sensitive to release debut single with etcetc for their upcoming album. It combines electronic and live for a funky track

Dynamic trio THE GOODS are back with another groovy hit all about choosing happiness. Tapped as an up and coming act in Sydney’s rising soul/electric scene, the boys deliver a track that will have you bopping in no time at all.

Described as synth funk, with a mix of RnB and low slung house, ‘Let’s Roll’ marks a new approach from the group, as they step more into the live music realm. Collaborating with Touch Sensitive for this one, this sound delivers not only their signature club oriented soul, but provides elements of live instruments that bring the track to that next level.

The Goods serenade us with lush vocal harmonies, live drums and guitar, all topped off with the cherry on top – electric bass provided by the one and only Touch Sensitive. On their evolution, The Goods note, “We really wanted this next body of work to be more collaborative and to move the music in new directions.”

Whatever direction they’re taking it in it must be the right one because the track immediately had me dancing along. The groovy tune is infectious and you really can’t help but tap your foot or move to the beat. It’s fitting that the single talks about good times, because that’s exactly what The Goods are providing.

The boys have already lent us some absolute tunes with their self-titled debut LP in 2016 and their 2018 'Make Your Move' EP, and ‘Let’s Roll’ is just a taste of what’s to come.

This track marks the trio’s first release with Australian label etcetc, with a new album slated for release later this year. I really can’t wait to see what they do next.
