Live Review: PREMIERE: Coda Conduct & Nyxen raise an eyebrow at the overtalkers of the world in their new clip

It's been a mammoth week for the CODA CONDUCT gals, Sally and Erica. First off, they announced last week that they're the newest addition to the Elefant Traks family alongside the likes of OKENYO, Joyride, Hermitude and more. As if that wasn't news enough, they went and dropped their first single on the label, and they teamed up with Sydney producer Nyxen to do it.

Both parties came together through one of KLP's writing camps. Coda Conduct explain “It was such a dream working with Nyxen. We were all super excited about the song from the get-go. She knew the concept too well and channeled that into absolutely nailing the chorus.”

Titled 'The Monologue', the trio bring nothing but sass, wit and great production to this one. In true Coda Conduct fashion they're taking no prisoners and using the track to raise an eyebrow out the overtalkers of the world.

The clip harnesses the energy of the track and sees Coda Conduct and Nyxen in a variety of scenarios where they're being talked over and talked at.

Following in the same vein as their previous work, the femme empowerment and discussion of non-male centric issues present in 'The Monologue' comes as a refreshing sound amongst the current music landscape. Coda Conduct's no-fear approach to creating true songs that are reflective of actual human experiences continues to be welcomed, and the addition of the clip comes as an apt addition.
