Set Mo lead Arcadia’s smashing 2019 lineup
Back for their fourth instalment, Arcadia have announced this year that they’ll be returning to the scenic surrounds of Queensland’s Goomburra Valley. Armed with their biggest lineup yet, the two day and night program will be going down over the May long weekend from Saturday the 4th to Monday the 6th.
Although this is set to be their biggest year, the festival organisers are set on continuing to deliver the ethos they set out to deliver every year: simplicity and happiness in harmony with nature.
Continuing in stead with their ethos of continuing to push electronic artists primarily from the southeast region of Queensland, this year’s lineup is a reflection of the organisers taste for both excitement and excellent curation.
Leading the charge are Sydney purveyors of dance, Set Mo. They guys are currently riding the high of the release of their stellar debut record Surrender, dropping just a couple of weeks ago. Known for their expert approach to DJing, the duo are an apt choice to lead the lineup, and their blissed-out Aussie sound will sit perfectly amongst the scenic surrounds.
Melbourne producer Planéte is aptly on the lineup too, a grab the organisers have called a ‘bucket list booking’. With an array of sounds amongst his repertoire ranging from downtempo masterpieces to thoughtful house jams, his indulgent back catalogue is an apt grab for the festival.
Also aptly on the bill, Melbourne’s Luboku, who will be making his Queensland debut at the festival. An expert in sound design, he’s definitely one to catch at the festival.
Check out the full lineup below, and grab your tickets HERE from 8am, Wednesday, February 20.
