Ahead of their biggest tour yet, SLUMBERJACK give us a rundown of what they'll be bringing with them on tour

It's been a big year for the SLUMBERJACK boys. Coming back from some time spent away travelling and finding themselves as musicians, they slapped us with 'Daggers', a hard-hitting collaboration with Brisbane-based experimentalist Machine Age.

Still riding the high of their last national tour (which ended up being entirely sold out), they've just recently announced their biggest national headline tour to date. Going down in March next year, they've done a double whammy on us and announced that they've got a new EP in the pipeline - this one's by the name of SARAWAK.

'Daggers' is the first official taste of the EP, and to pull us in even further, they've gone and dropped a clip for the single too.

Dotted with clips from some jaw-droppingly full live sets, clips from their time spent away and some emotive, intimate close ups of the guys performing the track, the moody cinematography works hard to embody and exemplify the raw spirit of the track.

It's cool to see how busy the boys have been, and it seems like they're on a huge roll with all that's to come, so ahead of their time on tour, we thought it'd be cool to check in and see what it is they can't live without on tour.

Manta Sleep Eye Mask

It’s like blackout curtains for your eyes. Not a single ray of light makes it through these babies and they’re perfect for catching a few zzz’s literally anywhere.

Conditioner/hair shiz

Touring is not kind to long hair but this stuff keeps it from turning into a single mega dreadlock.

Jewellery

We usually like to wear a bunch of jewellery so this stuff usually finds it’s way into extra pockets and pretty much anything that closes with a zip.

Coffee

We have been known to BYO pods on tour, especially when travelling to unknown cities where the coffee quality is unchartered. Consistency is key.

Exercise bands

Got a door? Got a gym. It’s pretty hard to keep yourself healthy on the road with all the time spent sitting on planes and in airports but these are really small, easy to pack and let you quickly get some physical exercise in the hotel room before heading out.
