#SHOTFORSNEAKERS: IV League

Purple Sneakers has teamed up with emerging photographer Joseph Crackett of ONLY ODD to hand pick and shoot some of the hottest artists performing at this year’s BIGSOUND. The series, titled #SHOTFORSNEAKERS, focuses on Purple Sneakers and Only Odd’s shared passion of emerging artists. Over the coming weeks we’ll be revealing selections from the shoots, shot by Joseph in Brisbane’s Winn Lane.

Today, we’re very excited to share IV LEAGUE.

With their new single 'Lose Me' out just last week (that we were stoked to premiere!), the Melbourne based two-piece are ones to continually outdo themselves. With each release comes growth and each show comes a confidence and moody aura that only the duo's dynamic could bring.

We're previously said that the duo are 'making some of the most exciting indie-pop in the country at the moment', and they're continually proving this with each of their releases.

2018 has been massive for the duo, with a run of shows supporting City Calm Down, a huge BIGSOUND appearance, a sell-out headline tour of their own, a run of singles and to top it all off, they're gearing up to release their debut EP early next year too.

With the perfect blend of garage, pop and fuzz, IV League's sound is both nostalgic and forward-thinking in the best way possible.
