Sydney's new open air festival, Finer Things, announces DJ Boring & more

25 October 2018 | 3:09 pm | Staff Writer

Sydney, this Summer's set to be a scorcher (I mean, I feel like every year it's consistently becoming more and more hot), but that doesn't mean that the party is going to stop.

The good people over at local label Finer Things have put together the best soundtrack to soak up some of that summer sun to, and it's all happening at the Finer Things Courtyard at the UNSW. Bringing together three of our favourite things - sunshine, light & music, this is set to be one hell of a day party.

It's going down on December 23 (nice last little hurrah before the Christmas season well and truly settles in) and is running from 2pm-10pm. Who doesn't love a party where you can a) enjoy yourself and b) be home and in bed all before 12?

They've curated one heck of a lineup for this big bash, with DJ Boring coming back home to our shores after relocating over to London. You can bet he'll be putting some huge numbers into his set, including his huge single 'Winona' and some tunes from his latest EP, For Tahn.

Local legends Adi Toohey and Andy Garvey will be putting friendship to the front, going back to back and in the same vein of camaraderie, the Strange Associates boys will be laying down some tunes too. Also on the bill, Raphy Weir & Lloyd Conolly AND to make things a little more spicy, there's a secret international headliner yet to be announced too.
