'Stop By' is a smooth-sailing, cruisy jam that elevates both Tayrell and Your Girl Pho to their highest potential yet

YOUR GIRL PHO has really made a mission out of subverting the electronic game. With a voice that's drenched in legends past yet still feels exciting and new, her soul and jazz base - splashed with vivid synths - has given her a lane to dominate all her own. Now, Mexico City production duo TAYRELL have hopped in the driver's seat and are going full speed ahead to reach Your Girl Pho's highest potential in 'Stop By.'

A delicate melody coupled with YGP's golden-Hollywood tinged vocals welcomes us in the opening few seconds of 'Stop By', before Tayrell abruptly flip the script and cloak the song in stretchy, summery synths. The beauty in 'Stop By' lays in its conservatism - Tayrell have clearly paid attention to finessing the finer details as opposed to giving the track too much. Your Girl Pho's voice lends itself to delicate, fragile and ethereal production and that's exactly what Tayrell have given her.

'Stop By' is a smooth-sailing, cruisy jam that elevates both Tayrell and Your Girl Pho to their highest potential yet. Its rubbery, glittering production is only matched by YGP's stunningly unique vocal delivery. This collaboration as opened up a new lane for both artists, and they have well and truly kicked this into gear.
