Night Tales ‘Want’ you to revel in the good vibes of their new single

Night Tales

Sydney duo NIGHT TALES are straight-up pros when it comes to delivering good, summertime vibes with their blend of nostalgic vocal house music. It’s a genre that’s often explored, but I think is very hard to do well. And Night Tales are the perfect pair to really lock this sound down.

With previous releases like late-night jam ‘Back 2 Me’, the pair have since hunkered down with Majestic Casual, and have delivered a new shift in their sound, but one that comes at an apt time in the projects existence.

With each release, they manage to show versatility, complexity and an immense understanding of the genre’s history and conventions. They’re back with another new one, keeping up an incredibly productive couple of months which has seen them release single after single and mix after mix too – they just recently put together a little something for our radio show on FBi Radio!

‘Want’ is the name of their newest single, and they’ve teamed up with fellow Sydney-sider Nat Conway AKA KIMONO. They’re continuing their run of feel-good house tracks that never waver and continue to be lasting.

The single explores and reflects on the common challenges faced in relationships, and in true Night Tales fashion, the vocals play a vital role in really elevating the mood of the track. There’s no doubt their instrumentation and production skills are attentive and incredible well-honed too, but there’s something about the way they pair the tone of the vocals with the sounds that they choose that makes this whole project feel so cohesive.

Night Tales are on a hot streak, and there’s no doubt that you’ll be hearing ‘Want’ on a dance floor near you soon.

No idea where she’ll be in 10 years, but as long as she has a good record and a glass of white wine, she’ll be sweet.
