Groove your weekend away with Night Tales’ glitzy guest mix

Night Tales

What do you get when you combine KAMALIZA (of OLYMPIC AYRES)THIRD FLOOR and the pounding glamour of 90s house? The result is Sydney duo NIGHT TALES, thank you for asking. Night Tales‘ bread and butter is music with an emotional twist; no matter what they tackle, whether it be sultry R&B or a house track born to dominate a dancefloor, the duo always find a way to make you feel while you groove.

Where their debut track ‘Move You’ hinted at their emotional, song-writing focused craft, ‘Back 2 You’ had so many tightly crafted layers at play. As a dance track it was masterful, but the melodic progression and lyrics gave it an emotional side that didn’t distract, but completely enhanced the final product. They’ve just dropped their latest track ‘Want’ featuring Kimono – and it’s everything we’ve wanted from a new Night Tales cut. Retro guitar and bass melodies mix with dizzyingly thick production and Kimono‘s strong vocals for an unforgettable single that tells you everything you need to know about the duo.

To celebrate their killer new single, Night Tales have treated us with an absolutely phenomenal guest mix. From homegrown acts like HAYDEN JAMES to a remix by CALVIN HARRIS the mix nicely evokes multi-faceted sound of the duo – and is groovy as heck to boot. Cop the mix below, or tune in live to Purple Sneakers’ very own radio show on FBi this Saturday from 5-6PM. That’s 94.5 DAB+ for Sydney dwellers, or fbiradio.com to stream wherever you are.
