‘Gravity’ is a funky 80’s dance single that wants you to cut shapes on the dancefloor while that disco ball is spinning. It takes you on a trip to the club when its RnB Friday’s. ‘Gravity’ is a cool mixture of spinning instrumental and electronic music, adding to the flavour is vocals from Audrey.
AU DRE say that, ‘Gravity is about a relationship with a foundation in pure and irresistible sexual magnetism.’
You can easily get a sense of this meaning from the lyrics through the track. When listening to ‘Gravity’ it appears that Audrey knocks on a door and starts calling for her ‘lover’ that she just can’t get enough of, saying ‘I need you’ and that ‘Gravity is pulling her to the bedroom.’
AU DRE will be having a launch party for ‘Gravity’ in Melbourne at The Toff in Town on September 2nd. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for when the duo release their sophomore EP in October 2017.
