Be prepared for a SHIFT in the scene with new Sydney club night

Sydney is about to get itself a brand new club night for left of centre trap, bass and hip hop heads. SHIFT aims to bring creatives of all mediums together, united through music, to create a space for artists to share their tunes and physical works as well as an inspiring atmosphere for club goers.

Brainchild of trio Bassia Dinnen, Tom Bruce and James Allo, the night hopes to create a community around deep experimental dance music. Riding the line between hard hitting bass and atmospheric soundscapes, expect half tempo heaters all night at Good Bar from some of Australia and New Zealand’s best.

The upstairs bar is a space for free reign of a local collective or creator, showcasing whatever and whoever they want on behalf of SHIFT. This week it’s Bodega Collective, a team known for their electronic RnB and dance music vibes and forays into streetware and events. Downstairs, the SHIFT team have pulled acts from interstate and across the Tasman as well as highlighting some talent from Sydney’s own backyard of course. This loaded roster of acts, featuring Montell2099 and ANH, is bound to get the dance floor of Good Bar packed and vibrating with energy (and bass).

Swing through on Thursday July 20th to catch some talented producers and selectors doing their thing until the early hours of the morning, thanks to Good Bar landing just outside of the lockout zone. Come support this brand new night on the Sydney scene, check out the details and lineup below. Hit that attending on the Facebook event and nab a ticket!
