Sydney’s house-soul-disco collective THE POSSÉ have announced their sophomore EP and dropped its' first single release, ‘Bionic Moses.

Sydney house-soul-disco collective THE POSSÉ have dropped their latest track 'Bionic Moses', coinciding with the announcement of their upcoming sophomore EP, Season’s Greetings.

The self-proclaimed elastic supergroup have fashioned their own modern take on these classic genres, stirring up some seriously world-class sounds and earnest boogie finesse that has got us utterly rapt.

The Possé is the brainchild of producers Andrew Elston (aka Physique) and Ross Ferraro, who endeavoured on their own modus operandi to bring live sounds to the synthesised tones of club music, eventually growing themselves into a five-piece ensemble.

Following on from The Possé’s debut Our Thing EP last year, ‘Bionic Moses’ in our first glimpse of their upcoming second record. Oozing with groove-laden tropical vibes, this track has a damn good chance of skyrocketing your cravings for a piña colada from zero to ten in no time.

Establishing its foundations with gleaming Rhodes chords and exotic rhythmic percussion, electronic drums soon take the wheel and become fortified with the swaggering funk of a Juno 6 and the notorious, nebulous acid bass of a TB-303.

The Possé are set to present three club-ready tracks on their Season's Greetings EP, each delivering their own different perceptions of the up-tempo, genre-fused style that they're fast becoming renown for.

Season’s Greetings is out on 28th July via Ken Oath Records and can be pre-ordered HERE.
