Benson has remixed Northeast Party House's 'Calypso Beach'. Because when it comes to clubifying tracks, BENSON is your go-to boy.

NORTHEAST PARTY HOUSE released their beachy little banger 'Calypso Beach' back in March. With a nice bounce and a breathy vocal, the original track is a summery dream. But as the temperature drops and the layers stack on, we all flock to the clubs for some solace. And when it comes to club-ifying tracks, BENSON is your go-to boy.

There are some undeniable RÜFÜS vibes in this remix. The ease of the melody is taken up a notch by the punching beat. For a track so club-ready, there is a lot of simplicity to it. The original vocals are woven through Benson's take on the instrumental. The percussion becomes striking, and the bass begins to moan.

The beat is at the perfect tempo to bop to. And coming in at just under five minutes in length, there is plenty of time to choreograph a sweaty dance routine to this song.

Benson has already sunk his remixing talons into many of Australia's club favourites. And more recently, he has dropped his own originals 'Step To Me' and 'Trying', featuring fellow Melbourne local YEO. The 'Calypso Beach' remix comes out from Medium Rare Recordings, a Melbourne based recording label that was cofounded by Benson himself.
