New Zealand based artist Tapz has come out with his new single 'Run Don't Run' alongside some stunning visuals to accompany the single.

Aggressive, loud and distorted, 'Run Don't Run' is a total heater. With the heavy percussion, distorted and wild synths are paired with the bass hits that convey a sense of urgency. Menacing and intimidating, everything about the production on this track hypes you up to create a beautiful contrast with the vocals laid down by TAPZ.

TAPZ himself is emotional and gripping. From the smooth vocals of the chorus to the syncopated singing of the verses the entire performance feels like it's always increasing intensity, adding more layers on top or just pelting out each word more fiercely, the dynamic vocal performance from start to finish is fantastic.

The accompanying video, directed by Joey Szela, is a visually stunning piece to accompany the music. The cinematography captures the dark landscape and the cold area that TAPZ is in, making a statement on the feeling that the song creates and articulates it visually.

TAPZ shared this on the topic of the video: “The video is a visual representation of my journey to find fearlessness in a system where we are taught to run and act without question.”

This clip and track serves as a serious warning shot for TAPZ' competition. He's as fierce as ever and clearly raring to go. Building on what we've already heard from him into this, it's seriously impressive and we can't wait for more.
