Live Review: Let L.E.D light up your day with first single 'Success'
L.E.D are the newest electronic duo to come out of Sydney's ever growing music scene. Their first track, 'Success', is a synth-infused post-punk electronic piece. If it's anything to go by, we predict big things for this duo.
'Success' features some dreamy female vocals and electronic synths. Contrasting these with a droning beat and a fuzzy guitar, it creates this melancholic, almost sad tone. Not too dissimilar to the sounds of The XX or HTRK, L.E.D possess a more unrefined, rawer sound, showcasing their live sound in recorded setting. In other words for their first single, it's pretty damn good. Take a listen below:
The most interesting part about L.E.D is their anonymity. Having no Facebook page and just one track under their belt, it's almost as if they don't exist. Sydney-siders should keep an eye out for their name though, as they begin to emerge on the live scene.
