Live Review: PREMIERE: Oliver Sol shares new remix collection of 'How Did You Know?' featuring Citizen Kay

Melbourne's OLIVER SOL is making quite the name for himself in the Australian music industry. Namely, the release of his powerful tune with rapper CITIZEN KAY, titled 'How Did You Know?', cements his status as both an up-and-comer and a mainstay in Australia's forever volatile music industry.

The tune is an 80s inspired wonderland of pounding bass, smooth passionate vocals and piercing synths that all melt together to make one bouncy gem. Now, because Oliver Sol is too generous, he has gifted us with a five-track remix collection for the song and each remix adds a special layer to the already massive track that changes the vibe completely.

Opening with a remix yielded by fellow Melbournite ALWYZ, the track showcases the 80s - think Stranger Things - vibe by chilling out on all the other elements offering some seriously eerie feels. Similarly, the DIAMOND PLATINUM mix also softens the track but not without compromising those beautifully soulful vocals.

HYPERSLEEP's remix adds a dark, Underworld-esque feel to the track, while TIBER's remix flips the script entirely by making the song a stadium-ready, booming EDM banger. Finally, the collection is rounded off with a ZABIER rework that pays sincere homage to the original. It has swagger, it has flair and it has a fresh interpretation of everything the original was about - a stellar round off of five supreme remixes that compliment Oliver Sol's original perfect.
