Live Review: Katia has given us an absolutely thumping Guest Mix

KATIA, a Sydney native, is an artist that, from the moment you start listening to her, you know that she is one to watch. Her knowledge of the techno scene has allowed this young gun to truly give a fresh spin to a somewhat traditional genre.

Her ability to traverse all sides of techno - from the light and bouncy to the dark and brooding - gives her an edge as she, perhaps subconsciously, refuses to be bound by any sort of predisposed genre restrictions. And with a tendency to always stretch for sonic landscapes few others are willing to go, she's truly going to make a name for herself.
