Moonbase has come out with a dark new video for his latest single, 'It Don’t Matter' featuring the ever talented Anderson .Paak.

Coming through with his signature sound of hard hitting bass mixed in with dark and aggressive synths, Moonbase has shown his taste for making beats from rappers before with artists like Cakes Da Killa, but this time he's managed to turn the smooth and soulful Anderson .Paak into an aggressive powerhouse of a rapper by pairing him up with such a hard beat.

Anderson .Paak brings some lyrics that are out of left field compared to his usual style but he performs them like he's been doing this type of rap for years. With a slight auto tune on his voice, .Paak spits straight bars to the listener in perfect synergy over the rabid production.

The video directed by Matthew Chuang is dark and ominous, using a monochrome setting and stunts, dancing, forboding imagery of boxers and rottweilers. This is the style that is quickly becoming an iconic representation of Moonbase and his music, and only amps up the menacing nature of the song.

Moonbase has brought the heat with this track, showing that his production has still got its punch while also breaking international barriers by putting stars like Anderson .Paak on it. We really can't wait for more.
