Each week, we select one artist to feature as our Spotlight Artist. This week, we’ve selected HYPERSLEEP.

Last week HUNTLY were celebrating a few things. Not only did their latest EP, Songs In Your Name, come out just a few days ago via Neat Lawn, but they're also celebrating  a milestone as their tune 'We Made It' hit 1 million plays on Spotify. To honour the special occasion, Melbourne producer HYPERSLEEP has delivered a seductive 9 minute techno re-work for you to feast your ears on.

Todd Procter, aka Hypersleep, is a burgeoning talent out of Melbourne, making a name for himself in the more experimental realms of electronica. Procter lends his unique atmospheric style to Huntly's tune 'We Made It,' making it noticeably darker and more stripped back. Hypersleep injects just the right amount of light and shade, with his interesting syncopated rhythm. Known for his darker approach to dance music, creating esoteric soundscapes with a rich profile of layering, Hypersleep's take on the tune is somewhat reminiscent of a NICOLAS JAAR body of work. Subtle textures, dreamy disembodied vocals layers, highly stylised and built around non tradition percussion, this remix is the gift that keeps on giving.

This incredibly beautiful tune would slot easily into a film or punctuate an emotional techno set in an intimate club room. Whilst relatively under the radar, Hypersleep's rich and polished re-work of 'We Made It' has definitely put him on the map.

Huntly's Songs In Your Name EP is out Friday 10th February via Neat Lawn.
