Live Review: Premiere: Dugong Jr remixes Riri's 'Sex With Me'
Melbourne producer Dugong Jr kicks off 2017 with a future bass, house infused banger remixing Rihanna's massive single, 'Sex With Me'.
DUGONG JR is starting 2017 with a bang, turning Rihanna's 'Sex With Me' into a dancehall-esque future party banger. Already on everyone's radar from a stellar 2016, the Melbourne-based producer is sure to turn heads again in 2017.
Dugong Jr's 2016 was a big one, working with the likes of CHIEFS, Fossa Beats, Tashka, and 2DB to name a few. He opened/toured for Party Favor, Jess Kent, Ape Drums and A-Tonez to name a few, as well as going on a solo tour himself for single 'Secrets', guest mixing on Japanese radio station block.fm, and doing an hour-long mix on Mix Up on triple j. He's also received much praise and love from Mad Decent and their sub-label Good Enuff, a big step for Australia's own.
What we love about Dugong Jr is his ability to turn any track into a tropical infused future bass inspired sound, from Chance The Rapper's 'Somewhere in Paradise' to Miami Horror's 'Real Slow'. His latest remix is nothing short of special, adding a layer of sexy to Riri's already alluring 'Sex With Me'. The remix really showcases Dugong's ability to add his own personal flavour to anything, blurring the lines of genre between house, future bass, dancehall, and tropical house to create his own unique sound.
