Live Review: Vincent Sole plays 'The Game' perfectly in his latest track

23 January 2017 | 3:47 pm | Natalie Turner

Melbourne producer Vincent Sole knows these sayings down to their origins as his race towards his musical career has progressed exponentially.

You know how slow and steady wins the race? Patience is a virtue? All good things come to those who wait? Well, Melbourne producer VINCENT SOLE knows these sayings down to their origins as his race towards his musical career has been one of a careful and leisurely approach from an outsider's perspective - but that all looks set to change with the release of his latest single.

He first emerged from the Triple J Unearthed High project, and once the spotlight had rightfully shone on him, he took this opportunity with both hands but held it ever so gently, being careful to only release tracks after they were 100% perfected.

In 2016, we saw the release of ‘Don’t Waste My Time’ which did anything but, and now almost 7 months later, this 19 year old talent has provided us with another gem of breath-taking production.

In comparison, to his previous release that consisted of upbeat tempos and pop electronic vibes, Sole has gracefully provided us with an insight into a new creative direction. Toned down just the slightest and sprinkled with a chillaxed soundscape of synths that we haven't yet heard from him; ‘The Game’ is a slow burning anthem of desire.

It's really exciting to see the development and progression of an artist right before your eyes, and Sole's latest rendition of electronic bangers will open every one of your senses to a completely new world of relaxation. We’re loving his new sound, what has been lost in terms of tempo has been replaced with elevated layers of synths and we couldn’t be more excited for not only this track but his next instalment.
