Artists To Watch in 2017: moistbreezy
Imagine if your first official release as an artist was to be on Dim Mak Records. Not just any old record label, but Dim Mak. That’s exactly the case NYC’s moistbreezy. She’s part theatre kid, part producer and an all round party queen.
2016’s been an incredible year for the producer. Some highlights include working on her own material, collaborating with artists like Crapface and some of our Aussie favourites Denzel Sterling and Amy Axegale, creating mixes for the likes of Nest HQ and heaps, heaps more.
Not only this, but she’s starting to garner a massive reputation as one to watch in the global nightcore and respective communities alike. Maybe it’s the way she’s somehow harnessed the immense finesse of music from artists like Unicorn Kid, or the way she can keep a whole room bouncing like Rustie can. More recently, she took her sound to the Shawn Wasabi & Friends x Doyler Room exhibition in NYC that saw massive crowds flock to see a stacked lineup including Shawn Wasabi himself, buji and tdoyle.
2017 has been edit after edit, track after track and mix after mix for this epic producer. Her Soundcloud is not only teeming with content, but it’s teeming with excitement and originality.
It’s been a year of accomplishments and a year of writing for moistbreezy. We can only hope to expect new music and antics from her in 2017.
