Live Review: Noah Slee runs 'Rampant Wild Free' with new single

20 December 2016 | 7:51 am | Aiden Benavides

Noah Slee is an artist who's dynamic and powerful vocals dominate his track 'Rampant Wild Free' along with giving the new video extra impact.

Noah Slee is a New Zealand born, Berlin based artist, and his dynamic and powerful vocals dominate his latest track 'Rampant Wild Free'. Released via Wondercore Island on his debut EP, "to your inner hippie & cos you fly as fuck"

The track starts off with some distant vocals before Noah Slee starts singing his emotional lyrics about love, building anticipation before things really lift off. The production is fairly upbeat and is full of new and interesting sounds. Each time a verse or hook comes around, such as the addition to more future bass sounding synths during the second half of the track or even the more organic sounding instruments that come in during the end. Noah Slee sounds smooth no matter where the beat goes. The relationship between the lyrics and the production is clear, as is the same with previous Noah Slee tracks; the synergy between the vocals and the beat is impeccable.

The vocals are wonderful, as always. Noah Slee manages to stay fresh by showing off his vocal range on this track, along with his talents for songwriting, and they paint a beautiful picture. It's an understatement to call Noah a good singer, because he has a dynamic style which not many artists have, making him sound smoother than the competition.

However, the good news doesn't stop here, as the video is equally impressive. Focussing on a relationship, producer Sam Templeton had this to say about the video:

"Whilst it was our aim to keep the narrative simple, we couldn't overlook the depth of Noah's lyrics. The relationship between girl and boy spawned out of this desire, then developed further over the course of the night of the shoot. The final music video is very much an organic product of the music, the people, and the city in which it was filmed. "

This is another home run for Noah Slee, everything he does seems to have all the love and care in it to make it sound and look fantastic. We hope he drops more soon.
