Live Review: FeelsClub will make you feel something spectacular with '1X1'

Some big news for the talents of FeelsClub as not only have they just released a fresh synth-pop anthem ‘1X1’, but also an accompanying video that coincides with the gentle, airy soundscape that this Brisbane band are quickly making as their signature spark.

Compiled of five talented millennial’s with a range of skills from guitar to vocals to keys, FeelsClub is a compilation of all things bright, bubbly and beautiful from which their sound perfectly radiates from. ‘1X1’ is their second official single release and came from inside the shower walls of songwriter St Jonnie. The track is said to have reflected the all too familiar subject of tormented perfectionism, which the visuals capture perfectly.

The video follows a young beauty through feathers, vibrators, purple pineapples and strange pink liquor that sends her into a delightful self-indulgent pleasure. Its truly mesmerising to watch as her pleasure becomes your pleasure, her delight become your delight, leaving you feeling overwhelmingly satisfied and that’s all before you fully grasp the enchanting soundscape of the song itself.

The band have stacks of catchy synths, repetitive bass guitar, punchy drums and St. Jonnie’s emotive filled lyrics that creates a personal experience of desire. The alternative synth sound can be reminiscent of early Metronomy but with their unique production and lyrical originality, their soundscape can’t be compared to any in the game. And, it just so happens that in celebration of ‘1X1’ they’ll be coming to a city near you, kick starting their 1x1 Good Vibrations tour in Brisbane in early January, so brush up on your knowledge of these guys, have a listen to ‘1X1’ and grab ya tix below!
