The ever changing, eccentric rapper/ producer SIMO SOO is keeping us all on our toes with his latest release, ‘Klaus.’ The track is a fresh snippet into the Sydney lad's soon to be released mixtape, and it’s a heck of a sneak peak.

Compiled of Simo Soo’s weird and wonderful inner desires and monologues, the track has also taken on production by the exceptional Sydney trio, Yon Yonson. The pair have proven not only their individual progressive power but their out of this world collaborative efforts. Their last joint effort, a Simo Soo remix of Yon Yonson's ‘Berlin’ was a shining example of the two entirely different soundscapes coming together to create no less than a match made in heaven.

With lyrical references to anxiety, depression, ADHD and medication, ‘Klaus’ becomes a platform for expression from which we expect nothing less from Simo Soo, as his individuality and rawness as an artist is the signature flare that draws us to his talent.

Industrial synth claps and winding, vibrating backbeats carry Soo’s attitude filled vocals through the intensity of Yonson’s production style. Levelled perfectly with Soo’s echoed and slightly warped vocals, the roller coaster of sounds is something truly unique and “goes out to all those feeling lost in this hyper reality, weird af world we got going on rn,” Soo said.

‘Klaus’ is but yet another piece that happily provides you with an array of samples, sounds and sass. Soo has transformed the rap genre with some alternative overtones and with the help of his trio of mates from Yon Yonso. It’s a track you’ll quickly become familiar with, bring on the mix-tape!
