'Uh Huh' is the latest single and music video from Sinkane, who has announced an upcoming album called Life and Livin' It. 'Uh Huh' is a optimistic and funky teaser for what's to come.
The song is about promoting optimism in tough times, Sinkane explained, saying, “Times are tough. Struggles have always existed in our lives. But hope, love and the power of positivity help us stay alive. It is what inspires me to wake up in the morning, make music, and, ultimately, connect with people."
The production features a lot of funk elements like the bongo drums and funky guitar strums. The entire track is built on elements of funk music. The amount of instruments being played at once is many but it never feels overwhelming, as each adds a little flavour whilst Sinkane's vocals bring everything together.

The accompanying visuals throwback to a bygone era. Sinkane wields an old styled microphone playing with his band and tearing up the joint with cuts to television broadcasts or people getting their photos taken. The aesthetic fits with the music and the time period well, with focus on the atmosphere the music provides which is happiness.
Sinkane has done a fantastic job with this song and video combo. It will definitely pique some people's interest in the new album that will be released in February and we hope more singles drop soon.
